School Houses and Leaders
Students are placed into one of our four houses when they start school. The house system allows all students to connect with others across the school and to actively engage with our school value Kotahitanga.
Myers (green) & Ross (red) House are named after the two families that the name 'Myross' comes from.
Kerr (yellow) House is named after the Kerr Bush area with which the school has a strong affiliation.
Johnston (blue) House is named in memory of Edna Johnston who was a strong supporter of our school over many years and Johnston Bush located at the end of Drysdale Road.
The roles of House Leader and Deputy House leader provide leadership opportunities for our senior students.
Across the year all students engage in a variety of sporting and academic activities to gain house points. The winning house at the end of the year wins the coveted house trophy.
