SOLO Taxonomy
At MBS we describe how well we have achieved or mastered a learning goal by using the Solo Taxonomy; a well researched and documented thinking development tool that is used by schools and universities all around the world. The levels in simple terms are:
When students have achieved a goal to at least a Relational Level then they move on to their next goal, while maintaining and consolidating, also. This is done with support with the teacher and it’s these learning conversations that are the backbone to developing ‘Learner Agency’ amongst our students.
